We are often able to demonstrate that the flood map for a site is incorrect through hydrological and hydraulic modelling of watercourses. Our work often culminates in a revision to the Environment Agency flood map, with the result that development area can increase, the Sequential Test can be satisfied, or the requirement for the Exception Test can be relaxed.

We are also often able to renegotiate watercourse maintenance easements with the Environment Agency and local lead flood management authorities to increase developable areas..
