Associate Director

James joined Weetwood in 2012 after graduating from Newcastle University with an MSc in Hydrology and Climate Change.

He has progressed rapidly through the ranks and was promoted to Associate Director in 2015 in recognition of his outstanding contribution to Weetwood.

James has a broad range of technical skills including hydrological analysis using current best practice flood estimation techniques and hydraulic modelling (1D / 2D) for the assessment of baseline flood risk and the development of practical mitigation solutions.

In February 2015 James prepared and presented a CPD course entitled 'Introduction to Flood Modelling' at Chester University to individuals from local authorities, the EA and NRW.

James also has expertise in the assessment and development of foul and surface water drainage schemes for existing and proposed developments, with a focus on delivering sustainable solutions for the management of surface water runoff.

James moved to London from Leeds in August 2015 and now heads up Weetwood's London Office in Farringdon where he aims to deliver practical water management advice to clients and stakeholders.

Outside of Weetwood James is a keen cyclist and regularly participates in both indoor and outdoor rock climbing.
