Managing Director gains FCIWEM status 20th November 2019

Weetwood are keen to support membership of professional bodies by employees and we are happy to be able to congratulate Managing Director Kevin Tilford on his successful application for Fellow membership of CIWEM.

Kevin has said: "Following a professional review process, I am delighted that my application for Fellow member of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management has been approved. I have been a member of the institution for over 20 years and never in its 125 year history has its work been more relevant or more necessary. Weetwood has always encouraged and supported all its staff in achieving professional accreditation through CIWEM and looks forward to promoting and actively supporting CIWEM for many years to come.”

We are pleased to have assisted AXIS with gaining planning approval for safety improvements at Barton Aerodrome in Manchester. In support of the application Weetwood produced a Flood Risk Assessment. This included a basic hydraulic assessment of Boyle Brook, a small watercourse flowing through the western section of the aerodrome, in order to establish the existing fluvial flood risk at the site.
